this can happen...it can go away if she waxed her underarm..like weekly or something...cuz that's just dead cells caused by the shaving....she can wax weekly and that'll make a great difference...

and it'll only hurt the first week...then the following weeks the hair would be reaaaally tiny (if there was any) so it won't hurt..

and there are also some creams that she can find in drugstores..

and she can also see a doctor

I am assuming this is because her hair is pretty dark under her arms - which is normal. She can do a few things - some more cost effective than the other.

1. Wax - hair over time will grow thinner (but it WILL take some time)

2. Using hair removal creme like Nair will burn the hair off. If her skin is sensitive - I wouldn't recommend it.

3. Laser Hair removal (most expensive but permanent)

I had the same problem until I started waxing - and eventually I did save up so I can get the Laser Hair removal. However - when I did the waxing the 'shadow' disappeared.

Make sure she exfoliates under her arms too.

Scrub (gently- don't want to break the skin) and exfoliate the area BEFORE you shave...

If that doesn't do it, talk to a dermatologist.

Tell her to see her doctor who may recommend something or a dermatologist.

i used to have that and it will stop if you do it with wax instead than shaving..... the roots of the hair is what makes it look grey.....
