I am a mystery shopper and have a lot of fun doing it. It is tough at first to get in if you don't know what to do. But, I've been successful doing it. Yesterday I completed nine jobs and the majority of them were gas stations. Quick and easy, I was in and out and filled out my information in no time. At first it takes some time to get the hang of it all, but if you take your time and pick the jobs that you want and that pay a decent amount, you make out just fine.

Yes there are sites that you have to pay to get the lists. But, how I got started was through a website that had a thirty day trial for only $4.99. Within hours of signing up I had completed two online mystery shops that only took minutes to complete. The thing I like about the recruiter I signed up with is that I can search for jobs at one site and they send my application in to whatever job it is that I want to mystery shop. I don't always have to go to a bunch of different sites. I also get notifications by e-mail of new jobs that become available. They also send me job notifications for demonstrators, merchandisers and other types of mystery jobs.

If you are careful and get in with the right company you can do very well. If you are interested in looking at the site where I signed up, just e-mail me with your e-mail address. You have to be referred to get a letter of invitation from them.

The best way to work at mystery shopping is to set up a group of mystery shops in one area for one day and another for another day. What I do (I live in a small town about 30 miles any way from a major city) is work a section of town when I am mystery shopping. Yesterday I had eight jobs in one town and one in the neighboring town. Next, I'll be working several in another town, but again I concentrate on one area each time so that I am not just doing one here and there.

I could go on, but if you want more information, just e-mail me. Good Luck.

A lot of the programs on the internet are scams. You pay money, and then get a "subscription" to a website with a bunch of links to other mystery shopper websites. In order to get any jobs, you have to contact each of those companies individually (and fill out all kinds of information for each company).

I recommend saving your money unless you do some thorough research first.

Good luck!
