Flushing, burial, and trash are all fine. I would recommend against feeding a dead fish to anybody, just in case it died of something that can be transmitted to other species.

We flushed but said a little prayer and my son (thinking of Nemo) said all drains lead to the ocean so I guess he thinks the ocean is dead fishy heaven

You can bury it in a plant container as fertilizer.
Otherwise, think a little thought for it then flush it.
Best to not eat it because it might have died from an illness.

if it was the kids pet then more ceremony needs to be involved for their benift. if they dont care flush it otherwise a small burial may be in order.

Toilet time unless it's one of those big Oranda's. My wife loves those, so we have two 30 gallon tanks with two each. We've had three die in the past year and a half and she insisted we have a funeral. (waits until the laughter di... um stops...)

So we dug a wee little hole in the front yard, dropped in the dearly departed fishy and buried it... topped it off with a stone and called it good......(must buy smaller fish)

Burial in backyard. How horrible to feed to your cat or dog, or eat it yourself. That is disgusting!

Is this your gold fish or your kids? Well if its only yours your cat would probably enjoy it. If its your kids a burial in the dirt no box.

If it's for a child?
Burial or flush.
Have them say a few words, express - and most of all..
Order pizza after words....

but no anchovies.
