Strange but I have always been a recycler reusing what I can. I try not to use excess water or power ( not counting the computer to answer questions lol) I can go a couple of days without using the car for anything ( I bike or walk ) and make lists of everything to get in 1 trip. I would love to say it's just for the environment but it is the high cost of everything also.

The environment does not need salvation. It was here before mankind and will be here after we are long gone. Green is a marketing tool, for companies that can't produce the best products most efficiently and want to push their shoddy products off on the gullible.

Recycle if it makes economic sense, if not it makes no sense. Car Pool if it saves you money, Walk if you enjoy it.

I've heard some Cities go so far as to send out recycling containers which are filled by loyal citizens. The containers are picked up by sanitation crews and hauled past the recycling facility and dumped into the landfill. In many cases it just cost too much to recycle. When economic reality changes that will change in the meantime, don't worry about it.

One volcanic eruption spews out more toxic chemicals, CO2, and sulfur compounds than mankind has produced since the begining of time. Riding your bike won't change that.

All of the above. The environment, humanity and animals..that's what I worry about. I'm a member of PETA (awesome organization..it's not what you have read about), and ONE. I recycle everything, I car pool whenever possible, I plant trees for people who can't, I used to walk everywhere until my back gave out, love biking. Just basically anything that I can do on a daily basis. Being an environmentalist (in whatever capacity), is really just adopting and then getting used to a different lifestyle....it's not that hard.
Great question! Thanks

I would recycle if it was more convienient. Some cities pick up your recycle trash, but we would have to take it to a town 45 minutes away that is only open from 9-5, everyone is at work!! They make it such a pain!

I buy used whenever possible, and recycle household goods through the freecycle web site. Why fill up a landfill when someone else can use something I'm done with.

Recycle, each and every each and every now and then too plenty. whilst i replaced into residing in a small city in Arizona, i replaced into protecting each and everything and ultimately had to throw it out. they did no longer have curbside recycling and that i did no longer understand what to do with it! i replaced into utilising an previous formed push mower. i do no longer muddle, and at situations, if i do no longer think of it extremely is risky, i visit p.c.. it up.

Saving paper resources, trying not to buy so much bulk that will be thrown out. I'm also nice to flowers :)
