I dyed my hair (root touch up on front of head) and didn't use the gloves like I was supposed to. Now my fingernails are stained/discolored. Any ideas to get them clean?

Oh, that's difficult.

I'd just apply nail polish over it, until the stained part grows out.

I always soak mine in a mixture of 50/50 bleach and water. I have also heard that alcohol will help, but have never tried it. You may also want to put a light coat of nail polish on after getting the worst of the stains out, just for a day or two.

use a file to remove the stain, you will still have a little residual stain on or around the cuticle but can be covered easily with polish at that point

I know that you can use TIDE laundry detergent to wash out alot of hair dye in your hair right after it is colored- I wonder if you soak your hands...?
Also possibly Oxy Clean or denture cleaning tablets...
Hope this helps.
