I liked the older series more, but I really like what they've done with the new "supreme power" series. I think that they should have left it a max title and got away with more gore. but its still decent now (althought the newer "knights" title of the series still lacks a little).
I think that they are doing a good job with the political stuff, but they need to change it up a little every now and then. I mean that everyone is doing that now.
I'm looking forward to Ultimate crossover, where the Ultimate universe and the supremeverse have a crossover, I think that that could turn out really well.

I read the new version but have never read the old one, though my husband has the graphic novel. It's really good for a retread of a Marvel series that was originally a rip-off of the JLA. Stanley is my favorite!

i enjoy it to a point...do miss the older 70's & 80's version alot!
the new version has a little to much swearing--for no reason other than just to swear---and i could really have lived my life just fine without seeing Zarda naked! The ' Blur" is kind of a neat twist on the speed-demon/flash-type hero!
