I've know some Americans that did not get some of the British tv/movie stuff. I guess they never saw Mrs. Peel in leather.

I have a close friend who is British. He is not offended by them, but doesn't like Mike Myers humor or any of the Austin Powers movies.

I can't speak for the British, but I love all those Austin Powers movies. They are all so funny! (Yeah, baby!)

I would think not. Austin Powers is such a severe caricature that no one can take it seriously. No Brit believed in Bond either. So - mystique versus mistake, and neither real. No offense is possible.

there are maximum of, the place do I start up? Austin "This coffee tastes like s**t Basil" We use this one at living house continuously. Plus who can overlook the excellent "Who does selection 2 artwork for?" scene. My husband only mentioned "I"ve have been given a turtle head poking out." fat Bastard. what's incorrect with me there seems to be a topic working by using all my expenses.

Heavens no! Haven't you ever seen "Couplings", "Monty Python", perhaps "Footballers Wives", not to mention "Benny HIll" or "So Graham Norton"!
