I think Yahoo answers are a past-time, because it passes time. But animal rescue is awesome, hobby or whatever you want to call it. Volunteering is a great hobby. I think any sport NOT done on a team can be considered a hobby too. Like golf- it's one of my hobbies. Shopping can be considered a hobby. I guess whatever floats your boat- just make time to be happy!

A hobby is simply what one does to while away the hours when you're not working or studying - So if you like answering questions on yahoo for fun, then yes, that would be your hobby!!!

i don't consider this a Hobby, its more like an addiction or a waste of time. But at the same time a Hobby its a thing you do on a regular basis to pass the time?.... i m not sure.

well I would say a hobbie is anything you do that you enjoy that has no practical application and the only thing you get out of it is enjoyment of the activity. so ya I guess this could be a hobbie, but kidna a sad one lol I can only bring myself to come on here from work when I am bored out of my mind (and tahts 90% of the time I am at work lol)

Sure yahoo answers could be a hobby.
if you are creative, like writing etc you can really enjoy answering and communicating creatively, and develop your talents

other hobbies, painting, drawing art, gardening, planting things and see how they grow, and just do it because you enjoy it, or facinated by it, or building things, carpentry, sewing , making things, collecting stamps.. they are all hobbies, one more; Collecting things, barbie dolls, old bottles, old poetry etc
