Yes, I played bass drum. Nothing better than a good drum line... People can say what they like..marching band is freakin' cool and a ton of fun.

Marching band can be fun. I played trombone for 7 years, 3 in high school. It helps to teach large group coordination. You get good game seats as well. Don't expect to be seen as cool in your uniform, though.
The problem was my gestapo band leader. One person making a mistake rated a 5 minute verbal reprimand in front of the whole class. Not fun.

Yes, I absolutely loved it! Made lifetime friends. Was drum major my senior year. Some of my best high school memories were made during marching season. Have fun!!

Hell yes.... I love football season, its all about the marching. I was in Colorguard, now that I have graduted I miss it all so much, so take it in.
