Well, my friend. Dell is a better deal, maybe not a better hardware. The warranty of the Dell Brand is one of the best in the world. If you want a good hardware and a very good support, i suggest you to get a Dell laptop. If you want a very good hardware, and a regular support, get alienware.

Hope this helps, Regards.

The build quality of Alienware is a lot better than that of Dell.
It depends on your usage of the computer though.
Alienware is meant for heavy gaming while Dell is mainly for home users doing everyday tasks.
Most games are tested on Alienware systems. They are one of the best gaming computers out there.
If you want performance then Alienware delivers better performance.
Other brands selling similar stuff for half the price should not be trusted because the build quality and the components are probably cheaper and they will not last for as long.
Alienware has some laptops within reasonable price range.

dell
if you want quick in home or business service warranty work then dell is for you. the quality of the upper echelon dell notebooks is comparitable to any other manufacturer.

alienware
alienware is overpriced mainly because of the airforce hanger that they rent to paint the cases. spiderware builds the same exact notebook for half the price.

bottom line
in this comparison i would choose dell over alienware

I have two Dells. So far I have found their support to be good. Besides having chats available with reps, Dell has Community Forums where you can get help from other Dell users.

To my mind - support is more important than the price.
