Believing in democracy in his speeches doesn't mean that he APPLIES these to his decision makings. Sometimes I get to think that I can't blame Bin Laden for bombing the U.S. when I see a schmuck at the president's seat.

I hope you learn early in life that that's not how democracy works. I am not trying to be mean. It's just that Bush is the president. He does what he wants. He's always done what he wants. Most of the time it's good that Bush cannot be re-elected, but it's also bad that he doesn't have to worry about pleasing the voters for another election.

There is a difference between a democracy and mob rule. Just like there is a difference between Clinton's demagoging and governing by poll results ... and President Bush's governing by what he believes is best for America and not backing down at the first sign of trouble like so many "cut and run" liberals.

The United States is a representative republic, not a democracy. He was hired to represent our BEST INTERESTS...
So, the answer would be, "You have no idea what you're talking about, so take your lib BS back to the big city and have a Starbuck's on me. Here, here's eight bucks. Now beat it."

bush doesnt care wat the average citizen wants. being in iraq is allowing him to access oil for his big texas petroleum buddies at a low price. not only is he wrong about the war, in his campaign he promised to promote farming, and try to increase the prices and lower the dairy tax prices, but one of his business men revealed bushes idea to tax the farmers more and cut the farmers aid program, shows how devoted to his citizens he is
