The husband, or the wife?
For me, it's me. My husbands spends like we can go out back and pick another $100.00 off of a vine!! =(

my husband wouldn't buy a new roof if the old one had fallen in. he wouldn't buy a new trashcan if the old one was on fire. I have to do all the spending...fortunately, i enjoy it! both of us were savers as kids, now I try to save through real estate. - save through buying!

We both save. We discuss all the details and agree to a budget and a weekly allowance. Purchases outside the allowance are discussed together.
Who asks for "outside the budget" spending more? The wife!
FYI - a recent study says that men hide secret spending in amounts above $1,000 more then women.
Women hide secret spending more than men when the amounts are under $100.

We are not married but with us a piece of paper will only make it legal. We lived as married. Anyways, we BOTH save. We put $10 in to a savings account every two weeks from EACH paycheck. But since I am more likely to spend we pay the bills out of MY account (two seperate account with my name on his because of child support with his previous marrage) and leave me with $40 to last me two weeks. And it does, until the Monday before we get paid I seem to spend a bit more then nessary. :-) OOPPSS, at least it is only three days till payday. :-)

I have to hide money in the house, otherwise, my husband sneaks it and eats it all away while he's at work. Nice considering we have 5 little mouths at home to feed huh?
