Oh yea, it's really improved if you call gasoline credit card debt good life! I think I see everyone use a credit card to buy gas now and when Clinton was in office you never heard of putting gas on a card unless you had a business with employee's !

It is hard to compare when we had 9/11 and a war on our hands. You could ask that question during any war in history and the answer wouldn't be a fair one. And what administration has ever had to live down a 9/11. Maybe Pearl Harbor but not lately.

If by 'average' you mean the total wealth divided by the number of people, then it has improved.
If by 'average' you mean the median/middle person, then it has gotten worse.
The rich have gotten richer so fast in the last few years that they bring up the average (even though no one else is doing better.)

i choose choice number 2, due to inflation and the ever rising gas prices. the average pay hasn't increased all that much, and with people still getting cut from their jobs, income isn't improving enough for the average person to survive without longer work hours. it is inevitible, with israel at war and jacking petroleum prices to support its war fund, so shipping and gas goes up, but not so much the income of us citizens

Gas prices are up, insurance premiums are up, cost of living is up, violence is up, severe climatic occurances are up, taxes are up unless you're rich...I"d say things are worse
