my husband has a 2002 avalanche and a piece of his plastic molding on the left side of his truck is broke off.

I think those are held on with plastic clips, you will have to buy new clips from the dealer. If the moulding is broke where the clips mount, you might try cleaning the moulding & the body where it mounts & sticking it on with windshield urethane. Hold the moulding on with tape until it dries. (about 8-12 hours)

Glue it on somehow. Bolts are a last resort, but would match the look of the truck.

you can use bondo to fix it if you still have the piece that fell off
