The pump goes into slow mode in order to insure that it shuts off at exactly the right time.

Yes,it is because even though you get less gas as you pumping it,you get more fumes than gas the last 30 to 50 cents .

It does that so as that no longer a unmarried cent will come out after that. also, in case you do not provide it slightly shake on the top you'll finally end up no longer getting the finest few drops. they're stingy with their gas.

because the gas stations cheat you out with mostly air being pumped and a few drops of gas...true fact

YES......I have also noticed that when you start pumping the gas. it never starts at zero but jumps to higher number before you even push the nozzle....Bunch of crooks....gggrgrrr..

because its fuuny when people get mad at the pump for going slow so they start swearing at the pump
thats from attendent spoint of view

it does this because they pre-set it from the inside,,this way you cant get more than you pay for,,it is done to prevent lose,,and to prevent a lot of drive offs,,but yes it does get irritating,,especially if your in a hurry,,hope this help,s.

I fill up before it gets dark and pay afterwards. It goes quick that way.

The pump will do that no matter how you pay... All it is is a safety percation...

It IS irritating. I think it is so that you don't accidentally get any extra.
