That's a good question, but the Native Americans were once the father's of this land we call America. So, think that is a hard one.

The father of america is in every man as the mother of america is in every woman. This is our country, our planet. we nurture it as it provides for us. To me is is our baby, our child, we are responsible for our America so therfore we are the parents. You are the father. But technically , I think i recall it would be the group of settlers who signed the Dec. of Ind. to break from
England. and to step before that It would be the Indian Nation of whom we the Americans took it from. But those are just my thoughts.
You know I find these questions fun and actually educational, its a shame everyone dosent see it that way. Good question I hope you get some better answers than the ones prior to mine.

Im sorry for my ignorance(i am not from america) but i thought america had four fathers, one being abraham lincoln and another george washington. Sorry if i am wrong.
