If you both can sit down and agree to how you are going to split everything and go in together and sign legal papers (without an attorney) it is sooooooooooo much cheaper. I don't understand why people put each other through the grinder when the end result is the same....divorce. I suppose the problem is to come up with what is fair to each other...after all you must be getting a divorce due to not being able to get along in the first place. My question is Why fight it.....why would you want someone that doesn't want to be with you or you don't want to be with them...quite pointless from my logical point of view. Sorry, I made this longer than necessary.....only way it could be hard is if one person fights it and you have assets that can't be decided upon.

In Georgia, if you can agree on division of property etc, a non contested divorce without minor children is very easy, after the petition is filed it is less than 30 days and you are single again. The cost varies, but for a small fee you can file the papers yourself. When I say small fee, most counties charge less than $70. Good luck to you.

It's not hard if you have no children involved. That is probably the easiest way the divorce will be granted.

it's easier if you have no kids, but the length depends on whether your partner contests the divorce or not.
