scooters are not un cool it is just that you cant drive them on the highway if you could not get a DWI on a scooter i would get one but the cops don't like you to swerve all over the place with a chick on the back

Think about it, in the US, either its fast, sleek and powerful... or it sucks. So tell me, what is fast, sleek and powerful about a scooter, not much. Let me tell you, I'd rather ride my mtn bike versus a scooter anyday, and those things couldnt stand a chance against my Suzuki

Probably because kids can ride them. They don't cost a lot and you don't need a licence to drive one. Personally I think they are great for our environment.

They are not aesthetically pleasing. And in America, it's not about the functionality of your vehicle as much as it is what you look like riding it.
That, or you look like a senior citizen riding a motorized wheelchair.
