Mollies are brackish fish, which means that they have to have fish or rock salt to keep them healthy and to keep them from getting the "shimmies" Give them at least 1 tablespoon of salt per 10 gallons. You can even increase it to 1 teaspoon per gallon if you don't have other fish in the tank.They also like greens, so try to give them cooked peas, or some of that algae food at the store.

The best food is Tetra Min because it doesn't cloud the water and it has a variety of foods in the flakes, Mollies are Black and the female is the one that usually starts to get grey patches on the bottom don't worry that's normal and if she get's pregnant she will start to grey on the bottom a little more she is also the larger of the two but the main thing to do is make sure there water is not cloudy and have a good filtering system and that's about it.

I am assuming you mean fish? I put a few sprinkles of sea salt in the water. This helps keep fish colorful and helps with some diseases and crud. You can buy it at the store in the fish aisle, I get mine at Walmart. Mollies also like their water a little brackish (salty). If you add water because of evaporation you will not need to add more as the salt does not evaporate, but if you change out some water then you will have to add a little more salt. The box has the directions on it as to how much per gallon. I have had other fish in the water with them as well and they have all tolerated the salt well.

I have also seen fish food at the store that claims to keep fish colorful, never tried any of them tho.
