I recentley got cable internet service and it works well on my PC yet I can't get a connection on my 2nd PC. Both PCs run windows 2000. PC #2 gets an ip address but nothing else. I ran the Comcast software on it and says it can't find the cable modem. Any clue what the problem is? Thanks

You do have both connected to the router don't you? Is the router in dynamic mode with the modem handling everything or is the modem bridged and the router handling everything? Repost with how it is set up and we will see what we can do.
