yes!....imagine a clogged shower head as your fuel injector.......it would be splurting out gas and would need more of it.......if it was clean it would emitt a clean spray for better burining.....helps gas mileage alot.....i recommend putting STP fuel system cleaner.....it will help clean more than the fuel injectors.....make sure you put it in with a full tank of gas

clogged fuel injectors wont affect performance? did someone really say that? if they are clogged or dirty, yes it will definitely affect performance. the best way to clean them (forget that stuff you put in the gas tank) is to have it done proffesionally. this is done by disabling the fuel pump, and running the car for 15-30 minutes on a injector cleaner only (no gas) and then letting it soak for a few minutes. its a bit of a procedure, but if there is a clog, this will probably get it. if they are not dirty or clogged, you wont see much difference, but may get better gas mileage. hope this helps.

the cleaner only does what it is supposed to do,,and that is help clean the fuel system out,,as far as making it run better,,if it is running bad now because of the injectors,,you might notice a difference in it if it cleans them out,,otherwise you probably wont notice much,,it is a good idea to add a can of this at least once a month,,then you keep the injectors cleaned out,,it works good,,but if the injector is bad it wont help,,i own a repair shop,,and i use it a lot ,,and urge my customers to at least use it once in a while,i hope this helps.

Performance No! .. It does however effect your gas mileage. Clogged or dirty injectors could cost ya at the pump I would use STP concentrated fuel system cleaner it cleans everything use it every time you get and oil change, fill up your tank and drop in a bottle of the concentrated formula.
Change your air filter and oil dirty oil can cost as much as 1mpg gas mileage so can the air filter. Rotate your tires every other oil change.
