I think it is oil based. I've washed it twice and soaked it in hot water, what else can i try?

Well if it's oil based and you've already run it through the washing machine there's little hope of getting it out.

You could try to put mineral spirits, brush cleaner or turpentine on it though. Use those on the soiled area, let it soak in warm water then wash it again and see how it works.

Hey there!!

I went to college for fine art and know the "paint-on-the-clothes" thing very well because I spent the majority of my time in the art studios. lol

If it is an oil based paint, chances are it isn't going to come out without a fight. You might to try turpentine to get it out. Since turpentine is used to thin out oil paints, it might take it out to an extent----but it might take some of the color out of the jeans with it.

I'm a oil painter and the only thing that works for me is oven cleaner. The one that does smell. spray and let set for a time then take a old tooth brush and lightly rub in circles. It works on old burnt grease in your oven so I tried in on my clothing and it worked. Good luck and have a nice day.
