My illegitimate kitten had a very similar issue several decades ago. She found out her boyfriend was cheating on her and just told him flat out- "HEY you fudge-packin' sunnofabitch! I'm going to loose the money in our vacation jar in reno and there's nothing you can do to keep me from going Horseback riding in a R2D2 costume...."

To unconfuse her, just simply ask her these questions:
How do you feel when (her boyfriend) does this (or say this) to you?
Believe me, her boyfriend must have being abusing her. I was in that similiar scenario. The best thing was I returned the engagement ring. Thank heaven, I didn't marry him.

sometimes people in love don't want to see the truth, especially if the truth would hurt them. my best friend was like that before she died, well before she got sick. her boyfriend was using her and treated her like crap, even flirted with my friend in front of me, knowing i would go back and tell her. she refused to believe me, cuz she loved him. just be there for her, she'll come to her senses sooner or later. and when she does, be her friend. no i told you so's, just be there for her.

she wants your opinion only if it agrees with her decision. I know I have been there. Keep attempting to guide her, but never make her choose between the two of you.
