Trying to set setting like when it came from dell, not system restore

i had to do this.

and had someone lead me through every step.

Use the Restore CD that came with the Dell, and if it is a newer one, than it probably didn't come with one, Contact Dell they will send them at a small fee..... Or if you have not messed with the computer as far as reinstalling, then it should have a PC Restore built in, Not System Restore, but PC Restore, read your documentation on this procedure... Are you trying to wipe clean the hard drive? Use the disks that came along with your computer.
