I don't know. I like to think that I could, but I don't really know what I would do in that situation.

Yes, b/c I would want the Lord to forgive me for my sins. Easier said, then done I know. I've been raped and abused before and it took awhile to forgive him. I just keep in mind that the Lord has forgiven me for some terrible sins as well. It would be hard and take time, but through prayer, family and friends I could manage. I do strongly believe in the death penatly and would want him to be sent to his maker and let the justice commence.

Whether the killer was sorry or not it is called on us as followers of Jesus to forgive others as we would want to be forgiven. Yes I would forgive them for to do otherwise would only make my grief harder to bear. It is only in forgiveness that I could attain peace.

To forgive someone of that level of betrayial is hard. A life is precious and yet he felt sorry. We really don't know how someone else feels. I don't think I could handle if someone took my three litle ones. No matter how sorry. It is human nature not to trust.

I don't know I know we are supposed to forgive if they seek forgiveness but that would be so hard especially if it was your kid or something that they hurt So I can't really say and I hope I never have to be faced with that.
