Believe me, you don't want to know. I started when I was 13 and now, 21 years later I wish that I had never started. It does burn when you first start and it does make things smell like cigarettes.

It's like a little "trick" you do, that is painful and difficult at first, but then you get used to it, and you start to think it looks cool, except really it looks stupid. By the time you realize it's not such a smart thing, you are already hooked on it. It makes you a little dizzy at first, and sometimes nauseous... but once you get used to it... it really does nothing at all. Except make your chest feel real heavy when you get up in the morning. And fill your body with harmful chemicals that cause cancer when you get older.
Cancer is a very painful way to die. The person gets weaker and weaker, and finally gets eaten away from the inside by a growth of tissue that is out of control.
The tobacco inside the paper cigarette burns, and the person inhales the smoke from it into their lungs and then blows it back out. When you are smoking it yourself, you not only smell it, but also taste it. It's really stupid, and people do it because they want to give themselves something to replace the pacifier or baby bottle they had to give up when they were little. That's about all there is to it.

It's like any other habit (alcohol, drugs, caffeine, etc.) You get a rush off it at first, then it takes more and more and more to get you buzzed, then eventually it just becomes a habit and you get nothing out of it. Yes, it smells like smoke smells when other people smoke. It doesn't burn (unless you get a stale or cheap pack of cigarettes, and in that case, it'll be harsh and might burn your throat. In the end, it's really not worth it.

I like to tease all the people I know when they get lung cancer or emphysema. Good fun.
You lose most of your sense of taste and smell so I doubt it smells the same. It gives you a little buzz the first few times you do it, but then you just need it.
This is just what I have read, I have an IQ over 32 and sense of smell that was disgusted by the stench of smokers so I never took it up.

Smoking cigarettes makes you feel a lot of different ways. Dizzy, bad breath, stinky clothes, yellow teeth, sore throat, congestion in chest, smelly hair and last but not least many serious medical problems. Do you self a favor don't start it is very addictive.

I smoked in college, at parties, but was never addicted. It tasted a little better than it smelled, but it wasn't great. It felt warm in my throat, but gave me a sore throat later on. It never made me feel good... I just thought I looked "cool"... which I guess I didn't...

the nicotine just hooks people, then they want and need the nicotine, so that's what makes them feel better when they get the nicotine fix. if your body isn't addicted to the nicotine, cigarrettes won't do you any good.only hurt you and the people around you.the saddest thing you will see is someone in the last stages of lung cancer or emphysema, struggling just to breate air... all because of ciggarettes.
