THEY ARE BEING FORCED TO BY THE ANTI-WAR EXTREMISTS...THE LEFT-OVER POT-SMOKING-BEAD-WEARING-DREAD LOCK BUNCH OF WEENIES....THE DEM PARTY HAS ALLOWED ITSELF TO BE TAKEN OVER BY THE FAR LEFT FRINGE WHO ARE FOR SURRENDER AT ALL COST...THAT IS WHY THE DEM PARTY HAS BECOME A FRINGE PARTY.

They have been hijacked by Communist/Socialist groups. I think many Libs live in an idealistic world and are naive. Plus the media is on the side of these idiots and constantly push these ideas. Cindy Sheehan basically said the same thing Mel Gibson said, sober. But because they hate Bush so much they let it slide.
But it is a mistake for the libs to go far left because the independents and undecided don't go for that insane Anti American drivel. At least I hope they won't.

Because it is the far left fringe that has the loudest voice and the most passion, and they are well funded by the likes of George Soros.
Also because the President and Congressional Republicans are moving so far to the left in spending every penny in sight, the Democrats have to move way left to stay to the left of the Republicans.

What are you talking about?
What is left and right anymore?
In this country the democrats are right winged and are only slightly left of the republicans.
That's why this plane can't fly for sh!t anymore.
Our country is in the worst fiscal health ever.
Spending money on guns and war when people without health insurance are being dumped off into the streets while still in critical condition after a hospital procedure, and the so-called "left" doesn't do squat about it either. The "right" is always trying to save a few bucks for the rich and keeping money in the pockets of the oil industry at the expense of OUR ENVIRONMENT! and OUR LIVELIHOOD! These politicians and the people who vote for them are fools.
The republican party makes me sick!
Rigging elections, lowering taxes so their corporate buddies don't have to pay their share, meanwhile starting wars to spend more money to make those same buddies even richer. Whose money by the way? Who cares as long as it's not Haliburton's or Enron's.
All of this madness over a few measly billion? Come on people, where are your priorities?
Yuck yuck. I don't know, I'm just gonna stick my head in the tailpipe of my Hummer and vote for the good-ole-boy with the nice and shiney boots.

It might be helpful to you to understand that most people do not share your delusion of liberals being so far left. In fact, the majority of this nation is not as dumb as you might hope. It seems that the far right has spun a cocoon around you from their web of lies, and if you ever break out from it, you will realize that liberals occupy the center of American politics, and it is the extremist right that has departed from it. You are like a person digging a hole, deeper and deeper, and asking others why the sun is getting so dark. Just keep digging, my friend, and one day you won't have to ask for any more directions.

Because liberals were running out of options since the 2000 elections. If the Republicans hold congress in the upcoming elections, it's all over for Democrats for a long time. Vote Republican!

Because the mainstream left, under the umbrella of the Democratic Party, has drifted to the right. Look how many Democrats supported the war in Iraq. For this reason, the socialist and Trotskyist parties, among others in this country are getting more support and memberships.

May have started when the Bush Administration, using terror tactics began the erosion of civil rights. May have been when Born again Bush pushed all the religious buttons to gather support for his candidacy and to further support of a thinly veiled theocracy. May have been when his administration committed us to a Mid-east war, with out an act of Congress. Conflict that may take years and years to resolve, if at all.
How did people get pushed? Count the Ways!

Because we remember what this country went through during the Viet Nam war. Young people were sick of the BS coming out of Washington. Some people sold out and became what they hated because they had a taste of money. Some of us never forgot that in order to change things for the better you have to get involved in the political process.

To balance out the idiocy of the Bush administration.
We are just doing our part as good Americans. You should get on board before we take over. It is all a part of the master plan.
The prophesy shall be fulfilled.

It only seem that way to you because the right wing kooks, like Rush, find the most extreme Liberal crazy person and say things like, "See this is what Liberal are all about." When it is simply not true.
It's like saying all Conservatives are like Timothy McVeigh, or all Christians are like that polygamist nut in Utah. It's just not true
