1) Osama Bin Laden was a nobody until Regan gave him money and weapons to fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan.
2) When the Soviets gave up in Afghanistan, Regan abandon the people there to the chaos of various warlords, which gave rise to the Taliban.
3) When Iran and Iraq were fighting, he gave Saddam Hussein money, weapons, technology, including the bio weapons he eventually used on his own people.
4) Giving Regan all the credit for defeating the Soviet Union, discount the efforts of all the presidents that came before him since WW2. The Soviet Union was doomed to failure from the beginning. Regan just happened to be president when it fell apart.

1. Jimmy Carter began supporting the Afghans in 1980. Bin Laden was still a nobody until 1992/3.
2. France gave military support to the US during our revolution. They "abandoned" us afterwards. We turned out okay.
3. He gave Hussein weapons, because they were losing to Iran. In order to prevent a superstate of Iran, they gave them just enough weapons to balance the fight. Jimmy Carter was to blame for abandoning the Shah and allowing the Islamic Revolution. We are still dealing with Iran.
4. Reagan (not Regan), accelerated the Soviet Union's demise by challenging the Soviet Union instead of "detente." He accelerated the military buildup and the Soviets couldn't keep up with the technology.

Reagan wasn't the only ones giving to "Al Queda". I know why you hate Reagan. He defeated your communist friends. Can you recite your Manifesto, liberal? Now you know that was just a bunch of bunk that the USSR was doomed to fail. You know that communism is the best system, right? Which is it, liberal?
People do things. We didn't control Saddam's behavior in using chemical weapons. You're not that big of kook to believe that, correct?

Cause when I was 5 my grandma made me send him a Get Well card when he got shot and he (well, his people anyways) sent me a thank you letter and some other crap about the White House. I thought it was cool and he looked so friendly in the pics.
