Not to be rude but the companies you owe money to are probably sick of not getting paid.
I have had to deal with them before because a guy I was working for was going out of business and through a divorce. Being the office manager and an authorized user on some of these accounts I was the one dealing with them, not him. They are rude and make ridiculous demands. As it was not my credit I was dealing with I actually put them in their place, told them how much money they were getting and that if they didn't want to accept it they would get nothing as he was considering bankruptcy. Saved him about $30,000 on three or four accounts alone.

okay I'm only the messenger so don't shoot me..... The FDCPA Fair Debt Collections Practices Act makes it legal for a third party agency to collect a debt from a debtor (which would be you) but they are forced to follow strict guidelines first they must site the mini miranda ( this is an attempt to collect a debt... blah blah blah) and they can only call between 8am and 9 pm. and if you tell them not to call you only to communicate by mail.. guess what .. they can't call you but you might want to try debt consolidation or consumer sredit counciling they help pay off debts at a lower fee and rate ... hope this helps

why do you owe them money in the first place. Business has to survive and get the money back from debtors, if everyone owes them money and refused to pay back, they will be out of business, many people will lose their job becos of people like you. Not only are you killing the company that you owe, you harm all those salary workers too, have you ever thought of that ? They are innocent people getting employed and just becos the company's debtor refused to pay them, they lost their job, is it fair to them in the first place ? And yet u can call someone idiots for trying to get back what they legally and morally should have gotten back.
