chocolate skirts that just make our butts look bigger? Do you think they're designed men who secretly have some kind of vendetta?

Okay ladies, just wanted to add a
comment now, because if you look good in that stuff, then that's great. But the majority of those over 25 look rediculous in it, especially old farts like me. JK. The twelve year old's got it right. You literally have to be twelve years old and eighty pounds to wear them. Thankyou.

Fashion seems to be out of ideas - It's just recycled 80's stuff. I guess it looks new to everybody (even though it's not) so that's why it's out now. Those puffy skirts are EVIL and super skinny jeans can make any girl with hips look fat.

Some people will wear things that are in style - regardless of what it makes them look like. People should look at pics of people from the 80's and learn from their mistakes!

Lately, I've actually been able to find a lot cute things actually. I'm surprised. A few years ago, fashion was really really bad. Everything was very cheap and kinda slutty looking. I think fashion is going in a better direction. And as far as shoes, I'm lovin' the shoes that are in right now. Most of them anyway.

Because the ugly fashion is effect of low profile designing teams at the companies. They think that making something shocking is also "pretty".
The great Chinese industry is destroying the quality products of fur from Italy and Brazil.
Popular products don't include good design, lately.
Another issue is that the recognized designer sell their shoes so expensive, you know the brands, but they make very small production.

it's called 80s throwbacks that people really thought was the worst fashion decade of all time. i think it's ironic that designers used to lament the styles from the 80s with the leggings, parachute pants, and the skinny jeans and now they really adore this look 25 years later. when i noticed that straight legs and leggings was starting to come back in fashion earlier this year, i couldn't help but ask myself "what are they thinking bringing this look back to haunt some of us who have worn this mess through the 90s"? i mean come on, even 13 year olds who act like they know what's going on in the fashion world and think these styles are new to this generation need lots of help in the next 5 years.

i do have to blame emo kids and their obsession with tight girls jeans and lindsay lohan for this change in our fashion.

i actually like that stuff. maybe it is just the fact that i'm 12 yrs. old and only 80lbs, but i think they are kinda cute. the most important rule about looking good is that there is a differance between looking stylish and looking good.
p.s. my yahoo avatar's wardrobe is 80's style
:)

Its revival of late 70;s/early80's fashion-Knickers, Gaucho pants, ruffled shirts, sweater vests. It will go away like the "Scruffy/Grunge" look of the mid 90's did.

This too shall pass! I think it is kind of a reflection of our society in general. I just choose not to buy stuff that is not to my standards of taste.
