I personally like it, because:
1. It shows that my honey planned for my special day.
2. I don't have to cook.
3. I don't have to clean up.
4. It's fun to dress up nicely.

If the date is well planned then it's very romantic because a lot of thought went into making my day a special one.

To remember anyone's birthday is paying that person a compliment, to spend money and time one that someone is even a bigger compliment. Romance starts with comliments if you want to woo the object of your affection.

I don't know if all girls think this. I, for one, think that just going out for dinner is not very romantic as it doesn't require too much forethought.

Guys should be taking their girls out every week, at least, regardless!!!
