I have only been a Yahoo! Answers member for a week and during the short course of my membership I have noticed that there are quite a few questions from self-proclaimed Conservatives, Republicans, etc. who repeatedly attack Liberals, Democrats, and the like. In their nonsensical ramblings these Right Wing aficionados assert that the Left is comprised of “morons” and “idiots”. I have no quibbles with astute Conservatives who actually are intelligent and rational it is just the intelligence of the so-called Right Wingers that I question. I doubt that they even know anything about the parties they support and oppose beyond their basic definition. What are your thoughts?

and to be fair, there is some "Bush is stupid" questions too...

but, there seem to be a lot of people on here that don't know much about politics... maybe I'm no expert either, but compared to some on here... I hold up pretty well...

I noticed you have not seen any self-proclaimed Democrats or Liberals doing the same thing. Why is that? I can point out many of them. However, I do agree with you that the extreme right and left on the boards can do nothing but call names in support of their respective parties. Not many people can think for themselves when it comes to politics, they can only repeat the party playbooks.

Well you can look at the rants of liberals on here too and find just as much if not more "nonsensical ramblings" Just go over to the second page and check out the question "I have a problem with Israel" . Yeah I'll say that guy has a problem. It comes from both sides not just one

Right wing nut cases are the same as left wing nut cases. Ultimately a nut case is a...etc. The real issue is the seeming necessity of the right wing folk to name-call. I don't understand that. Without knowing the intellectual capacity of anyone who Yahoo answers, I would be reluctant to ascribe intelligence or rationality. But, the name calling does concern me.

Yes, but there are many here who will say the same rant over and over. You cannot discuss anything with them because they are so thick headed and myopic. It is a great opportunity to share ideas and get different perspectives on serveral important issues. Sometimes you have to wade through the mud to get to the people who want to learn as much as they can by having discussions where the words "liberal" and "Conservative" do not appear.

Have you not seen the same from the 'morons' and 'idiots'? If not, you must be one of them.

Generally, I try to be kind to all reasonable people, no matter what their leanings are. However, I swat both the loony left and the nutty right. (OK, I swat more loonies than nutties).

But, if you read you question again, you aren't being (here comes that Fox phrase) fair and balanced. Therefore, you open yourself up to whatever little swats I can muster.

My thoughts are 'Let the games begin'.

Thank you for your support (Bartles and Jaymes).

I would say you are a very biased person. There are a large number of attacks of the most vile nature directed at:

neocons; conservatives; Christians; Republicans; Bush; etc.

There are so many that it is not possible that you have not seen them. Thus, it is necessary to conclude that you share the opinion of the Republican bashers, and your brain somehow can't detect the reverse no matter how bad it is.

Grow up!

Pots and kettles, nothing more. The extremist wings on both sides tend to rationalize demeaning and dehumanizing their opposition by sh!tslinging and namecalling in the name of "patriotism" and "supporting the troops". They're blind to the necessity of rational debate and opposition, and would rather bicker like kids in a sandbox than actually cooperate to solve the major problems facing our country.

Thank goodness there's nobody from the Left on here doing the same thing, especially disguised inside some question about the Right. Nope, none of that here.

People generally reject the things that they don't understand. When it comes to liberals-they should be afraid of us.

We WILL FULFILL THE PROPHESY.

One day we shall rise up and there will be a reckoning. The rivers will flow red with the spilled blood of conservatives.

Sleep tight you right wing, oil hungry, bastards who have kept us down. Sleep while you still can.
