I was about 8 and I found 10 (back then) Deutsch Marks, which was for me like 3 months worth of pocket money. So I thought this is really a lot of money and tye one who lost will need it back. So I brought it to the Lost & Found office. The Lady there told me that if after 3 months noone had claimed it, I could come back and keep it.
After I got it back I think I spent half of it on candy and the rest went to my savings account.
Damn honest and boring child I was (-:

$80 bucks! Believe it or not, I was waiting for the streetcar and there just happened to be an ATM machine right there. I was pacing back and forth in front of it and all of a sudden out popped $80. It must have been a delayed reaction or something because afew minutes later, I hopped on the street car and this guy comes rushing back to the machine but as I said. I was already on the street car and I felt guilty but I was so broke, I kept it.

I once found a bunch of really old Roman and Egyptian and other foreign coins laying on the sidewalk by my neighbor's house and there were so many that I couldn't pick them all up but I fit what I oculd into my pockets and such. Anyways, people starting coming to get what I had rightfully found and then I woke up.

Some friends and I were going to get a drink and I found $20 in the parking lot. Since I found the money, everyone decided the first round of drinks was on me! lol

57 dollars when they kids were little. It was on the ground outside the winn dixie. I picked it up and asked a few people and it wasn't theirs. I bought food with it. When the kids were little buying diapers and baby milk your poor.......lol
So I had 100 to spend that week.
