Both great comedic actors ... but given just one, I'd take John Candy.

John Candy. He was so funny. But he could also play serious roles. He did a skit on SCTV where he was a roving reporter on the street where nobody was around. His (his character) dream was to have a crane shot. It was very touching.

possibly yet in a distinctive way. They celebrated the certainty that they've been the obese underdog. look back to the Chippendale's skit with Chris Farley, John candy flipping a extensive pancake with a shovel, John Belushi stiffing his face with foodstuff and slapping his cheeks.

They were both extremely funny, but I grew up watching John Candy on SCTV and he was one of the funniest people who ever lived.
