If you do, then you're stupid.
1) Being homosexual is not a disease. It is not the Black Plague. No it will not "infect"you.
2) We just want to live a normal life. we want to adopt or (if lesbians) have children. Love is love, it happens to everyone.
Yes there are the Homosexuals who will rape kids and hurt people and are masochists. yes you hear about it on the news. that's why it's called NEWS. it doesn't happen very often.
Yes, some gays have AIDS. but not all. i've stayed with one girl for almost 4 years now, and we're physical, but we're careful. almost all of my friends are gay, and a few of them are quite physical with eachother, but all of them are very careful.
I'm Buddhist, and most of my gay friends are christian. one of my friends is a hardcore Presbyterian and he's been "out" with his church for 14 years!
The main thing is, not all gays are bad.... Some are, but most arent. we just want to live freely and be happy.

To me, gay people are people. Period!. There are good ones and bad ones just like the straight ones. More and more, people are understanding of the difference. After all from a gay point of vue, straights are different too! I have gay friends and some of them even got married recently. Half of the people attending were straight people and everyone enjoyed themselves. It's a question of respect for one another. Everyone deserves respect when behaving respectfully.
Good luck in assuming yourself and be happy the way you are.
Not all people hate you... I'm certain a lot of people love you. Generally, women get along just fine with gay men and become the best of friends. I would say straight men are generally the ones who have a problem with it. ( a son or a daughter).

I don't have a problem with Gays per se. I just have a problem having to hear their sexual orientation all the time. I don't go around saying, "I'm hetero" or "Hetero's have rights whether you think it's normal or not". If you are gay, just shut up like the rest of us. It is personal. PS. I do however, believe strongly that Gays should not adopt. No offense to anyone. Children need a man and a woman for parents. You give up things in life by choices. This is one of those forfeits. Yes, I have raised kids on my own. It is not the same as a mom and a dad no matter how stongly you want to be a parent.

I can honestly tell you this: me as a born again christian do not hate gays by NO means. I try to show love to everyone because i know that that is what God wants me to do. I even have a gay guy friend who i have a lot of fun with. The thing is, I'm not going to judge you because you're gay. No, I don't agree with what you're doing, but it's not my place to tell you you're wrong. God has already judged whether it's right or wrong and that's in the bible. It's God's place and all I can ask you to do is let him be your savior. But that is your choice. God doesn't force himself on anyone. you have to be willing to give your life to him and ready as well.

Not all gays are bad, just as not all straight people are bad. One has nothing to do with the other.

I don't hate them,I am bi,technically,I am one of them,least I consider myself that way. I'm bi,my step sister is a lesbian,and the rest of the family's straight. Big deal,I don't care what grown consenting adults do behind closed doors. Having said that,I don't want to see ANYONE doing inappropriate displays of affection in public. ( Making out,type of thing,not holding hands.) I feel there's a time and place for everything,no matter what your sexual preference might be.)

Ok. You could do more good if you said this somewhere out in the real world. Get active in the fight for GLBTQ rights. Speak up in town meetings and so on. On YahooAnswers is ok but there are better places. Check on the link on taking action.

you could ask. If he's rational, he won't get offended via it. "I relatively have this wierd feeling in me that this guy is almost a sprint different than a at present type of guy" you need to understand that there are alot of "guy or woman" types accessible. no longer absolutely everyone suits right into a single classification. So, you won't be ready to easily anticipate that he's not "the at present type". do you comprehend what i'm asserting?

amen to that! there's more "bad" straight folks creeping around here. i have NO problem with straight people at all...most of my friends are! but these sick, twisted "fake" Christians who use the Bible to justify their bigotry...they've known nothing else growing up but to hate anyone/anything that's different. I think if you raise your child to hate, that's child abuse!

People mostly hate gays because they were raised like that from the bible
