Mostly called me stick cause I was so skinny, But I do remember a hair thing since you brought it up- I was called Lief Garrison and I was a girl. You have to know him from the 70's, he was a teen heart throb. I had the Lief haircut short with feathered sides.

I was always given my cousins hand me downs, this was in the 70's and they were like always 5 years behind in what everyone else was wearing. (My cousins only came for a visit every few years) The kids always made fun of my clothes. To this day, I still feel very self-conscious about what I'm wearing.

Having a boy as my best friend (in elementary school). Perhaps you are too young for the song:
K- I -S- S- I- N -G..... Stevie and Lucy sitting in a tree,
First came love, then came marriage,
Then came Lucy with a baby carriage.

We were very talented with our playground songs back in the old days! And truly I thought boys were absolutely yucky! But this was my best bud and that was different.

I came from Canada (a catholic school) AND when i came to california, we were poor and my grandma made me wear the same dress every day, it was ugly, and navy blue rayon it was like a uniform, the kids laughed at me, and they said that i had potatoes in my ears cuz i was not bathed properly, and the worst was when little girls wore shiny patton shoes with little socks and lacy, i had to wear "bowling shoes" Ugly, sturdy, and would last a hundred years, Yea, i was laughed at alot.

One girl always teased me about my freckles. She called me fly spot. It made me hate them. 20 years later, I work with a guy that tells me every day that I look as if I have been sun bathing under a sieve. Still not a fan of my freckles but actually I don't even see them when I look in the mirror.

I was tall and skinney so I heard comments about me being a toothpick or giraffe. In 7th grade I had to get eyeglasses so the 4 eyes jokes started.

They made fun of my walk....I was born with clubbed feet and I walk with a limp but my feet are noticable different when I don't have shoes. They also made fun of my speech since one of the operations affected my speech but has improved drastically. Also, because I was a special needs student only to catch up in my studies because of being in and out of hospitals. I can go on and on and on. But I think you got the jest of it.

My hairy arms (called me werewolf), and I have Tourrette's, so they always made fun of my poor blinking eyes. I hate kids. I'm a teacher now, by the way. Revenge is so sweet!
