what do you think about africa.mean all that has ever been said about africa is the bad stuff but that is not the same with america i mean has a lot of things wrong with it but most ppl always say how great it is. i am from nigeria which is in africa and has it's good and bads just like amrica. some parts are rich and some parts are poor. no country is perfect. so what do you think?

I have been to Nigeria as well. So many people talk trash about Africa as if it is a country and not a continent.I think that the problem is that Africa has been robbed of its riches and its people have been left for dead but Africans (or any African descendants) are very strong and very smart!!! It is just that the majority of the people in Africa have not been granted the opportunities to succeed that the rest of the world has had. There are people around this world that do not like people with dark skin. Take a look at the countries in Africa that have dark skin and the ones that don't. Tell me that you don't see a difference in the economic status of those countries.
And to just comment on what the person said about Africa being AIDS infected that is a lie... The people in Africa do not have AIDS no more than the people in the USA. The only difference is that here in the USA and Europe there is money to treat the spread of AIDS.
Sorry to go off but I just had to voice my opinion because I get so sick and tired of people talking bad about Africa---the continent that started civilization!

every country has its good and its bad...
countries in africa, asia, the americas (oh yes USA included)
honestly, people HERE (US specifically) think thay they are better than everyone else, and speak badly upon others.
the biggest problem raging epidemic of AIDS. africa does have the highest percentage of the worlds population living with AIDS. thats really the biggest thing.
and like person above said.. i would like to go there as well.

Africa,deepest darkest Africa,the plains of Africa, Mt. Kilamanjaro, as a small kid watching Tarzan and all these safari movies and seeing all it has to offer, before I die I want to go to Africa and see it for myself. I want a person who is from every area I visit to guide me through their homeland so I won't miss anything culturally or visually( not to mention avoiding places where I can get my head cut off)
