My friend gave me a piece of tiger lily, it doesn't have roots, so that means I can't plant it, but I can't just keep it in a vase of water, its already dying. I need help! It's really beautiful and I want to keep it!

without the buld or root base it will dye there is nothing you can do unless it has seeds on it if so collect them and plant them in ground it take two years in most cases for them to bloom well worth the wait if it doesn't have friend to save some from hers

Go to Michael's or a craft store & tell them what you want to do. They have flower preservation kits you can buy.
