Look at the original/British "what not to wear" books - Trinnie (one of the hosts/presenters) is tall with a long torso and her advice would be exactly what you need. She seems to layer her tops a lot, but as you have a different body type than mine, I don't have any tips of my own to pass along - sorry!

You can even go and flip through them in the bookstore to pick up some free tips. They are very good at what they do, you really should check them out. I was skeptical at first, but they know their stuff.

I agree with the others. If you want more ideas, try reading "What not to Wear" by Trinny Woodall and Suzanne Constantine. It says what clothes are good for different body shapes and sizes.

LAYER YOUR TOPS...
STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING TOO CLOSE FITTIN SUCH AS SHIRTS AND PANTS.. IF YOU ARE GOING TO WHERE A SKIRT MAKE IT A WRAP SHIRT SO IT DRAWS ATTENTION TO THE WIDTH OF YOUR BODY NOT THE LENGTH..
NEVER WHERE PIN STRIPES OR ANYTHING DESIGN OR PATTERN THAT IS VERTICAL IT WILL ACCENT YOUR HIGH AND SLIM FIGURE..
TRY NOT TO WHERE HEELS THAT ARE SLIM.. (STILETTO STYLE) AND STAY AWAY FROM HEELS THAT ARE MORE THAN THREE INCHES..

anything form fitting. be proud of your height. if you have problems with shirts not being long enough, try layering a longer tank top underneath the shirt.

long flowy skirts look great because they make your torso look shorter.
