at first i would try to do it by myself if i can't do it then it's the time i look for somebody's help

It all depends. If it is something that I can afford upon my own means I will do it alone. Or even if I think I could not do it.. i will give it a try first... If it is financially related kind of problem, there is no other choice but to approach friends... so, I always tell myself not to get into that kind of problems... Most will not feel comfortable helping you in that situation.
If I need to get something completed, things that I can do alone if given enough time, but there ain't enough time, I will run for help.
You see, the thing is you get more upset when you ask for help, and you don't get any, or ... you get people feeling obliged to help you sometimes, or they let the matter hang on it's own.
Of course, if I am not needing any help, but someone comes along, offering help willingly, I would gladly accept!

It depends on what kind of help is needed, if its a simple thing I do it myself but if its something that I know nothing about I will ask for help and be thankful that I have people willing to help.

What it happens to be is everything. Clearing out old e-mails from this computer, I would do it myself. Getting our old kitchen stove to the town dump, I would probably ask a close friend with a truck. Almost everything you do or want to do will automatically decide which of your two choices you will likely apply. Sent to you with a big smile from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. most of the time I will try to do it myself.. I only ask for help as a last resort.

I'm afraid I do it myself, which isn't always good, what's wrong with us, there are a lot of people, that genuinely, like to help!....:)
