I'm not trying to start a debate really, but I am curious as to what the point is to be racist, or to discriminate at all. What are you trying to accomplish? People are not going to change their race, because you don't like them. No matter what you spew, black will still be black, mexican still be mexican, christian will be christian, atheist will be atheist, man is man, woman is woman, gay is still gay, etc. So since you cant' change these things why come online and rant? What are you trying to accomplish, really? Are you just wanting to make sure people know you are a bigot? Are you trying to get people to donate sheets? What ?

I don't understand it myself, although I have been subjected to racist actions against me in the past. I am standing there, light skin, brown hair, brown eyes (but a white person can tell someone is Mexican just by the way "we" look I suppose); just the way God made me and I have some "white" woman look at me as though I am disturbing her with my presence. How could I be so forward as to present myself in HER restaurant. I am poisoning her with my mere presence. (King's Inn Seafood Restaurant in South Texas - south of San Antonio). God only knows...
well I agree and I disagree with Houston's response. I mean, had I never been treated badly by white people, maybe I would not have any resentment or "hatred" towards them...but I don't go so far as to change a conversation when someone of a different race comes walking in. what's that about? I mean, what were you talking about that you had to go and change your entire conversation?

Everyone is racist in their own little way, no matter how much you want to believe that you aren't. Think about the things that you do in your everyday life, and you will see it. Think about it when a person of the other race comes around you try to chance you conversations, and when they leave, you change it back. No matter how much you want to deny it, we are all racist in our own little way. To prove my point, why do we put labels on everyone, i.e. white american, black american, latino american, etc... why not just american? Don't get me wrong, we need to find a end to it all, but I think it all start with one person, ourselves.

I think that a lot of people like to have someone to blame for their problems, or to have someone who they can put down to make themselves feel better. Sometimes, people find camaraderie in racist groups- "my enemy's enemy is my friend" y'know? It is stupid and small-minded, but I guess the world takes all kinds...

ok now let me clear this up, i have been all over the country and i have found that answer. There are good people and bad people no matter what race, religion, or sex. plain and simple just good and bad.
