My cousin is one year younger than me. As we have grown-up together we've become real friends to one another. However, in the past years some things have come between us and I just don't feel as safe with her as I use to. I have fun with her when we're out but something about having her in my house, in my room, messing with my things drives me crazy. On top of everything else I'm pretty much a loner. I like solitude, esspecially at night time before I go to bed. Unfortunately I don't have my own room so when my cousin spends the night (which is every weekend) trying to rest with two other people around is really disturbing. She's a rattling cage. She loves to make fun of me to try and keep me feeling inferior to her. My parents are having a ceremony to renew their vows. She's going to walk down the isle with my siblings and me. Her brother is only an USHER in the ceremony. She's special but is isn't one of my parent's children. Why should she get to walk with us. It's not cool

Talk to your parents. Ask why they are letting her have an honor you think is only for their children. But listen to what they say, it is their ceremony.

two of my cousins moved in with me a few years ago, one of which shares a room with me...its like one minute its real great and the next i want to smack her...i like solitude too and my cousins fake laughing (when she watches a show) drives me crazy!...its really not fair that shes walking the aisle with you and your sibs because she really isnt part of your family, but at the same time she should be part of it...maybe ask her to be in it some other way, like give her a special part
