No doubt, that's one of the main reason USA basketball struggles so much. In the NBA, you have star treatment where you can't even breathe on a guy, like Dwayne Wade in the Finals.

yes whole heartedly, the nba even admits that the rules on the west are very tight on when a player gets touched, a foul's called, while internationally, it takes a good old hard foul to get a call

The NBA used to be a game of toughness. But now its almost all shooting and dunking physicalness has been taken out of the equation

of course they are in the NBA they try to protect the stars like we in th NBA final with D-Wade and when LeBronm faced the Pistons, I mean LeBron James shouldn't get nearly as many calls as he does, i'm a LeBron fan and I see all of his games and i definitely agree with you
