Yes. I usually end up doing more of this than actually working. Not because I want to...because I'm not generally terribly busy on most days.

well, @ my work it's blocked to check external e-mail. I don't pay bills on line.
But I do occasionally read the new sites, and if I have to make a call for personal I do. I don't get carried away and spend all my time doing personal stuff @ work.

Yeah, but play it fair - they are paying for your time, so try to spend at least 5 mins every day doing real work, in return you can spend the rest of the day browsing youtube guilt free.

I think it's impossible not to do some personal business at work. Especially, when you've got children.

Your employers are also supposed to allow you to have breaks. I think if you don't abuse it, then you'll be fine. Just look at how long people use up in smoke breaks.

If by "personal business" you mean using the facilities, then, yes, I do! Don't tell my boss though. He says, "I don't pay you to dump! Get off there and get back to work! Use the restroom before you come to work!"

No I do all that from home. Work is for work, you make time to do the other on your own time.
