I would think that they were an extremely intelligent person with a wonderful sense of self that can relate well to that creative career. I have a friend who is presently a professor at a college in Tennessee. He is the most wonderful person who to some people came across as boring or weird. He and I used to run the Fine Arts Department at another college in Kentucky. I was just a little bit wilder than him and was known for being more off the wall while he was the calm one. We worked very well together, but then while I was playing Trivial Pursuit on an elevator at midnight with a bunch of actors, he was at home resting up for the next day (he took early and I took late).

i don't know what constitutes being 'in a creative career'. i think a lot of creative people are real assholes. that's not to say creative people can't be fun too. i'm sure lots are. i just don't think being in a creative career is a good indicator of whether or not a person is fun.

Yes, 'cause they have to be fun to be creative in the first place.

Yes sounds positive to me and living 1 step at a time is a good thing.

Not always. For instance, look at all the stuck-up musicians there are. Even some indie artists have superiority complexes and put down other aspiring musicians, when their own music is lacklustre.

Not really, I've known plenty of un-fun artists. They tend to be depressed.
