.... like some kind of animal , or famous figure. Any suggestions ? or has anyone else tried this ?? I'm leaning towards two toad-stools with gnome resting on top, smoking a pipe if I can fit it in.

You can buy little kits to do that with...I couldn't put the URLs in here because they lead to some very dirty websites, but you can just do an internet search for pubic hair trimmers or kits.
It might be easier just to shape it into a lightening bolt or something easy to trim, you really can't get a lot of detail in with a small amount of space.
Be prepared for some really odd looks from your partners, though!

I don't think you'll be able to shape it like you would a bush with hedge trimmers. Your hair would have to be very very thick.
