I don't think there is any set age that anyone should try to lose their virginity by. I think sex is a highly personal issue, and everyone should decide for themselves when they are ready to start having sex.

The question being asked is not when teenagers should start having sex, it's what the norm is for those who do. I don't think teenagers should have sex, but I think generally by 16 people start teasing you if you admit to being a virgin, even earlier in some places. So while I have heard as early as 10 or 11 for some kids, I think overall, 16 is the age by which most teenagers will have had sex for the first time.

I think a lot of teens are losing their virginity way too early. I lost mine at 17 which I think is a little young, but I was with my boyfriend for 3 years and we were in love so it's not like how it happens with a lot of people today. We're still together and are moving in together in the next few months and going to get married, Yay!! I think that 16 is when it becomes JUST acceptable. The idea of a 14 year old having sex to me is just so wrong, it's sick. You're still a child at 14... I don't know. Sex is becoming less and less of an important special thing... it's becoming just something you do. Not in my case.

I dont think theres a certain age when ppl especialy teenagers start losing their virginity. Take jessia simpson for example, she waited until she was married. and shes kinda my idol, cuz sweety Im 25 yrs old and stil hadnt lost my virginity to no body. But if your hormones are skyrocketing already then do whatever you please, just dont go all the way. Theres nothin wrong with makingout, or maybe going a lil more, but have some respect for yourself, or else guys will think your easy. But I cant tell you what to do and no to do. Its all up to you, you wanna go ahead and have sex, go for it, just remeber to use protection. ;)

Well I think I would say most kids who do lose it are about 15+. But having sex is about sharing something with a person you love and trust, so some kids even wait till marriage. The best parts about waiting to have sex are that you are at less risk for getting pregnant, regretting your choice, or getting an STD. Whatever is comfortable to you is best.

No one should have sex until they alone are able to accept the responsibilities of raising a child. It's better to wait, then to make a mistake you'll regret. Sex is better when you are in an adult relationship with someone you love and trust. Don't be in a hurry to grow up. It will come soon enough ~ trust me on this one!

Virginity is some thing very special for the girl.If it weren't special,it wouldn't exist.So the girl should lose virginity when she gets married.Marriage is a very special moment,so you have to lose these special things in one moment and this moment will be so special.

hmm ... depending on the guy... or if the girl is a slut as young as 13 its kind of sad... i mean averagely i guess 15 or 16... if youre going to have sex tho use a condom.. my friend just had a kid and shes only 15 .. ;/ lol
