would i be scared to get on a plane? no. even if the silly mofo was crashing i would wait for the last second before it hit the ground then jump off it do a tuck and roll and land safely a few feet from the burning plane and burning corpses that didnt follow my example. P.S. this works even ask my dad, he did it numerous times in the late 80's and early 90's

I always get a little nervous before I fly (probably because I don't do it very often), with all the terrorism scares, I am even more nervous. Not because of what a terrorist might do, but I'm scared to deal with airport security! They can be real jerks sometimes, and I've watched them just pick on people for the fun of it. (and you can't talk back to them or you'll get kicked out of the airport or worse...arrested). Too much power to one group of people!

I was scheduled to fly out of Philadelphia to California at 9PM on 9/11.
I couldn't get a flight home for 5 days.
When I got to the airport I was VERY aware of Middle Eastern people waiting to get on my plane. I was really leary, but I figured if it was my time, it was my time.
I have friends who are international pilots and they say it's safer now than ever before. Now that that plot was uncovered, I think we'll be even safer.

I can't be scared of that. I use airplanes all the time to visit my dad's. Although I do tend to have a paranoia about whether or not someone on the plane is a terrorist, but it doesn't stop me from boarding the plane.

no, i flew the december following 9/11. As long as people keep doing their job to protect us against terrorism, I have no reason to fear. That's a reason why you shouldn't complain because of the extra time it takes for you to get into the airplane; you'd rather spend some more time then die.

No, you still have a much greater chance of being killed in a car accident then being killed on an airplane even with all the terrorism.
I am more scared of checking my luggage because of the new regulations and having something stolen or lost.

I'm more afraid that the plane will crash than of terrorism.

No. I've got a trip planned over Labor day weekend. Flying to Florida. It will be a little inconvenient, but not big deal.
