That concept is used quite often in 12 step programs. Like all concepts it is open to interpretation,based on experience and circumstances, mainly it is used to keep from entering in the realm of fantasy,projection of future events based on imagination and not on experience.The 12 step program gives you the benefit of listening to others experience that you can use as a base line, to use as your own when certain situations arise. A check and balance system that keeps fantasy in check by balancing it with real experience.

how can u believe in who is killing and mobilising this world how can u believe in such imperialists and fascists that the american government is they can do all the assassinations together with the scumbags of the Israelis under a name of democracy god and terrorist when we all know they r the terrorists they r the ones who really threat this world with their greedy they can rape smash and bring down cultures and proper history with their bombs they love oil...yeah i think because of their shitty 500 years of culture make them fell guilty and sad in this world americans ....they start to kill the native in their own country therefore they want the world like Napoleon or Hitler did they r not diff rent from them they just hid themselves under the name of Republicans or democrats....

There isn't any realness to anyone anymore.Even if you are real to yourself you are going to put up a facade so other could like u or what not.So for me i keep it real with myself but with other i put up a facade so i can protect myself.
