I don't think it's right to drive a car and continue to pollute this earth, much less support the big oil companies.

I am looking to buy a bicycle that I can use to navigate city traffic, but I know nothing of bicycles.

What type of bike should I get? What features should I look for? What's a good brand?

I would buy an old used one first to not worry about theft until I understand the neighborhoods and also develop an opinion about what I would really like to have based on my habits.

city bike?-- i would suggest the one i'm using-- the Kettler Pendo. it's comfy yet it looks cool. it's ergonomically designed but it got the looks. Price? competitive...
